Objectives

1. To create awareness regarding gender equality

2. To make girls fearless and develop confidence in them

3. To create awareness among masses for higher education of girls

4. To abolish the obstacles in gender equality

5. To raise awareness of the human rights of women.

6. To conduct Boy’s workshops in the content of feminineequality.

7. To organize women’s health check-up camps.

8. To organize women’s training camp for self defense.

9. To raise awareness of the provisions in theconstitution regarding women’s empowerment.

About the Cell

     The Women Empowerment Cell established in 2017, for overall development of girl students. The cell organizes various types of programs. Empowerment of women in our present society refers to the creation of an environment for women where they can make decisions of their own personal for their benefits as well as for the society.

The Practice

     In order to spread awareness about eradication of superstition, bring awareness about provisions regarding women rights, inculcate scientific values, creating awareness about traditional customs in rural areas especially for the girl students, the college through Women Empowerment cell organizes different programs, camps and events.

Achievements :

In the last 5 years no sexual harassment case registered

No complaint registered with women redressal cell

No ragging case registered

Remarkable improvement in girl student enrollment

Girl students have found interest in education.

Girl students participated in sports activities.

Much awareness about self defense in girl students.
